I Want to See
I want to see glaciers burn
To see earthquakes build
To see the tide bring my sandcastle back
I want to see the rain leave us dry
To see the wind comb my hair
To see grass retreat to the ground
I want to see the wrinkles smooth
To see the trail become clear
To see my grandfather breathe
I want to see the bottle refill
To see the fist heal the wound
To see the glass shattered pristine
I want to see the tears dry your face
To see a light in your eyes
To see you walking back to me
